Voting for the Elections will be held

For the purposes of an Election, the Island is divided into seven Electoral Districts and any person whose name is inscribed on the section of the Electoral Roll for a District may vote at any polling station in that District.

In order to vote in the forthcoming 2012 General Election of People's Deputies to be held on 18th April 2012, Islanders should ensure that they are registered on the new Electoral Roll that is currently being created. The closing date for registration on the new Electoral Roll is 29th February.

At the bottom of this page is a document (titled General Information) that has details on Postal Votes, the seven Electoral Districts and the Polling Stations that have been established for this purpose.

All results will be added to the Election 2012 website shortly after they have been announced by the Returning Officer of the District.
